A Renewed Hub for Middlesex Centre
This spring, Middlesex Centre officially unveiled the results of a major two-year renovation project at its municipal office and the attached Coldstream Community Centre. The updates were celebrated with an open house in May 2025, marking a milestone in the municipality’s investment in civic spaces that serve both residents and staff.

Modernized Municipal Office
Located at 10227 Ilderton Road, the municipal office now features a 6,000-square-foot expansion, accommodating new spaces for the building, engineering, and planning departments. A larger, modern council chamber now provides an enhanced setting for public meetings and municipal decision-making.

Commitment to Accessibility
The project placed accessibility at the forefront, introducing a universal washroom and other upgrades to ensure the facility is welcoming and barrier-free for all members of the community.
Coldstream Community Centre Refresh
The neighbouring community centre also benefited from a thoughtful refresh. Upgrades included new windows, modern flooring, fresh paint, and improved washrooms—creating a brighter, more functional venue for community gatherings and events.
Funding and Timeline
Completed in April 2025, the project was largely funded through municipal reserve funds, ensuring minimal impact on the tax levy. With oversight from Middlesex Centre’s Building Services department, the renovation demonstrates the municipality’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing community infrastructure while also supporting residential and civic development across the region.
