Conestoga’s $3.8M Renovation Transforms Guelph Campus

New Spaces and Services Inspire Students and Staff

Conestoga’s Guelph campus underwent a major renovation, revitalizing the Speedvale Avenue facility, in operation since 1970, into a contemporary space with enhanced amenities and services for students. The highlight of the $3.8-million renovation, which began in November 2022 and was completed in September 2023, is the new welcome centre.

The welcoming area near the main entrance now acts as a central hub, providing streamlined access to essential student services right from the welcome desk. The redesigned space features a new medical clinic, a testing center, additional study and work areas for students, upgraded classrooms, a renovated outdoor courtyard, newly landscaped exterior spaces, and increased faculty and staff areas.

The Guelph campus renovation was more than just an update to an outdated facility; it was a chance to transform the campus into an inspiring environment where staff, faculty, and, most importantly, students can thrive.
