The renovated campus combines modern amenities with thoughtful interior design, creating a welcoming environment for both study and social connection. Students can now enjoy a vibrant lounge with a kitchenette, a sleek welcome desk, flexible BYOD classrooms, and a dedicated PSW skills lab equipped with hospital beds. Natural finishes and warm tones are paired with bold accents to establish a setting that supports collaboration, focus, and community.

Beyond its architecture, the Stratford campus is designed to bridge the skills gap and prepare learners for the demands of tomorrow’s workforce. Programs span a wide range of disciplines, from business and early childhood education to event management, health office administration, bookkeeping, and personal support work. This expansion reflects Conestoga’s polytechnic mission: to provide career-oriented programs directly aligned with industry and workforce needs. As Paula Gouveia, Vice-President Academic, explained, “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for both our institution and our students. We are thrilled to continue our legacy in Stratford and to invest in the community as it grows into a new location.”

Conestoga’s story in Stratford began in 1969 at the historic Stratford Teacher’s College. Over the decades, the college has responded to local workforce needs with programs ranging from carpentry apprenticeships to nursing training. The new campus at Erie Street continues this legacy of adaptability, ensuring Stratford remains a hub for modern, career-driven education.
