Burlington City Hall Unveils First-Floor Renovation
Featuring a Stunning 40-Foot Atrium Bridge and Expanded Access Points, the Redesigned Space Reflects Community-Driven Improvements
The newly renovated Burlington City Hall, first-floor renovation is the first step in a future design of City Hall that allows for a greater customer experience.

This interior renovation features a 40-foot bridge across the opening of the Atrium, complete with elegant glass railings for a modern aesthetic. Enhancing accessibility, the entrance from Locust Street has been expanded and now includes sliding doors. Inside, a light-filled lobby welcomes visitors with a larger, furnished customer area that is versatile enough to serve as a venue for city events as needed. To further improve accessibility, customer service counters have been designed with adjustable heights, ensuring comfort and convenience for all visitors.
The enhancements have been directly influenced by feedback from Burlington's business community, gathered through the Red Tape Red Carpet Task Force in 2019. Leveraging these insights, the City Hall renovations represent a key effort by the city to facilitate business operations in Burlington and to better support its residents.
