Chamberlain Architects has introduced Birchmount Green, a notable new residential project located at 1236 Birchmount Road in Scarborough.

This 15-story affordable housing development distinguishes itself with a unique architectural design that integrates varied materials and structural components. The exterior is a blend of EIFS and glazing, resulting in a modern and visually enticing façade.

The ground floor is characterized by distinctive and unconventional columns that support the canopies, adding an artistic and playful element to the entrance. A curved section between the second and third floors further enhances the building's dynamic and fluid visual profile, reinforcing its structural identity and aesthetic appeal.

Birchmount Green features 220 high-quality, purpose-built affordable and supportive housing units. Funded by the City of Toronto and supported by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, this project represents a significant stride in addressing the city's affordable housing challenges.
